    GAP 101 and SC Market Opportunities

    Come to Saltcatcher Farms for a full-day workshop on food safety & market opportunities with a chance to hear from five speakers from Carolina Farm Stewardship Association, Clemson Extension, South Carolina Department of Agriculture, SC Business Development Center, and Saltcatcher Farms.

    Workshop topics include:

    -GAP 101 and step-by-step approach to farm food safety & certification
    -Understanding FSMA - are you covered or exempt?
    -Business planning for start-up expansion, cost-share and funding programs
    -Extension programs for farm and community

    Enjoy lunch and conclude the day with a farm tour, while hearing about Saltcatcher Farms' experience with GAP Certification.
